Wilson marches into Crucible semi-final

Kyren Wilson has booked a place in the last-four of the Snooker World Championships after beating Mark Allen 13-6.

In a repeat of this years’ Masters final – where Allen emerged victorious – Englishman Wilson got sufficient revenge on his adversary.

Wilson is the second man in the semi-finals, after Barry Hawkins soundly beat Ding Junhui in the early encounter 13-5.

Judd Trump and John Higgins resume tonight and are currently locked at 8-8 in a potential thriller.

The final quarter-final sees Mark Williams leading Ali Carter 7-5.
