South Yorkshire Police have reported that Ronnie, a valuable French Bulldog stolen from a Doncaster home, has been found.
The pregnant dog was missing after thieves kicked down the rear door of the property on Tuesday afternoon. They made no other attempt to take any other valuables from the property.
Ronnie was handed in to Mount Pleasant Dog Kennels in Doncaster this morning after being found by a dog warden in Hexthorpe.
Ronnie’s owner Jody Race, of Fair View Avenue, said: “She’s worth a lot of money. She’s pregnant with eight pups, and they go for a lot of money. She’s worth about £18,000 at the minute.”
South Yorkshire Police tweeted this morning that Ronnie has been reunited with her owners and thanked members of the public for sharing their appeal.
