’Tis the coe-son! Sheffield company releases gluten free Christmas range
Sheffield-based company Delicious Alchemy have released a new range of festive treats, for “coeliacs, gluten free converts, foodies and fanatics” to enjoy this Christmas.
Coeliac Emma Killilea founded gluten free food company Delicious Alchemy in 2006, with the aim of “making the gluten free world more delicious”.
This year, it has released two brand new gluten-free takes on Yuletide favourites.

Delicious Alchemy’s ‘Christmas Classics’ range features news mixes to make gingerbread biscuits and sage and red onion stuffing, both free from gluten and dairy.
The company has also re-released a gluten and dairy free Christmas fruit cake mix, which featured earlier this month on Healthy Food’s list of favourite free-from Christmas products.
Ms Killilea said: “Christmas is a time when only the finest food and drink will do, and those who must avoid gluten and dairy can feel frustrated with a lack of choice on offer.
“We are delighted to be launching these two new variants and broadening our offer.”
The company’s website also offers a wide range of recipes, to inspire gluten free cooking this festive season.

The award-winning company has launched a ‘Christmas Ice Off’ competition, which asks entrants to bake and ice gingerbread men, and to send them in through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email to hello@deliciousalchemy.com.
The winner, which will be announced on Monday 19th December, will receive five Delicious Alchemy products of their choice.
