Sheffield Wednesday hope to continue their revival under Steve Bruce

Sheffield Wednesday will host Brentford on Tuesday night as the Owls look to extend their unbeaten streak while playing at home.

The match will see the return of striker Fernando Forestieri who was serving a one match ban after being sent off against Doncaster Rovers.

Jordan Thorniley and George Boyd could also make a return to the side.

Sheffield Wednesday had their first ever home win under manager Steve Bruce, beating Swansea 3-1.

Bruce took charge of the Owls on 1 February after Jos Luhukay was dismissed by the club in December.

The Owls have only lost one of their last 11 Championship matches and kept six clean sheets.

But Brentford are also having a successful run with five wins in their last six games.

The Bees’ most recent win was a 5-1 defeat against Hull City last weekend.

While Sheffield Wednesday have lost their previous last two Championship matches against Brentford, both of these were at Griffin Park. Brentford have lost three of their last four league visits away at Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday are currently 15th in the Championship table, while Brentford are 16th.

Kick-off at Hillsborough will be 7.45pm
