Star wing-back George Baldock could make his first appearance in over two months at Millwall this Saturday after suffering a fractured foot in September.
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder said: “He’s trained this week so we’ll make a decision, possibly off the back of how he trains today, as to whether he’ll be involved against Millwall on Saturday.”
Baldock fell awkwardly after a clean tackle was made against him during Sheffield United’s 2-1 away defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Sheffield United’s physio initially thought Baldock had pulled a calf muscle, and expected him to recover in two to three weeks.
Subsequent X-rays discovered a small fracture in Baldock’s foot, which meant he missed much of the opening half of the season.
