Sheffield residents have taken to Twitter after the latest developments in the Sheffield trees story.
Two protesters were in Sheffield Magistrates Court today after being arrested at earlier tree protests in the city. Wellwishers and fellow activists set up a protest outside the court.

Prospective Green MP candidate for Sheffield, Natalie Bennett, was down on Raven Road in Netheredge where protesters had gathered as the council attempted to cut down further trees.
