A technology company in Sheffield is celebrating a 300% increase in its annual turnover for the past 12 months.
Razor, who are a consultant agency based at Paternoster Row in the city centre, say that this significant increase was due to a number of new client’s and contract renewals.
CEO Jamie Hinton, pictured, said: “It’s been an incredibly busy and exciting year for the Razor business, with new clients, projects and team members coming through the door.
We’re perfectly placed to help businesses find the solution that meets their needs and enables their business to become more efficient and successful.”
They work with a range of clients, including Virgin Trains, Westfield Health and the University of Sheffield.
Businesses seek their expertise in areas such as data analysis, systems integration and digital product development.
The Co-Founder and Director of Sheffield Digital, Chris Dymond, said it was great news for a top Sheffield technology agency.
Sheffield Digital, an organisation used to join up various technology companies across the city, has close links with Razor.
On their success, he said: “They are very strong on technical innovation and its an excellent environment to work in.”
He also added: “It’s satisfying to see local firms doing well when they’ve got the setup right. There’s really no limit to where Razor can get to now.”
In order to meet this new demand increase, they hired three new members of staff in September and are set to grow even bigger in 2019.
Paul Fillingham, who was previously employed with Apple Macintosh, also joined the company in October as Head of Design.
