Sheffield songwriter praises the MOBO’s being held in the north

The MOBO’s (Music of Black Origin) were held in Leeds last night.

Sheffield songwriter and record producer Eliot Kennedy said: “I think wherever there’s a chance to celebrate peoples creativity and new innovation in music, it should be done and the fact it was done in Yorkshire last night is great. The north of England is a fabulous place for creativity and there’s some incredible talent to come out of the North.”

Mr Kennedy has worked with stars such as Gary Barlow, Bryan Adams and the spice girls attended the event last night.

The MOBO’s has been held in Yorkshire for a third year in a row.
