Parkour stunt leaves boy stranded on Rotherham roof

Firefighters were called to rescue a boy yesterday afternoon when he became stranded while attempting parkour moves in Rotherham.

A ladder over 13 meters long was used to get the boy down safely from the 25ft high roof.

Firefighters at the scene warned of the dangers of attempting the sport, which developed from a form of military obstacle training.

Police also attended the incident, and it appears that the boy in question was taken home and warned to be careful.
