The electronic music event, No Bounds, has won best boutique festival in the UK in the DJ Mag Best Of British awards.
No Bounds ran from 11 until 13 October, 2019, at various venues across the city including Hope Works, The Holt, Kellam Island Museum.
No Bounds posted to Facebook: “A HUGE thank you to each and every artist who performed, created and exhibited work and engaged with No Bounds and the city of Sheffield. This was all about showcasing the highest quality work possible in the best, most engaging ways we could.
“Thank you to our audience, beautiful people who travelled from far and wide with open minds and hearts. The atmosphere this year was very very special. We really felt it in the air all weekend. We did something TOGETHER here.”
This was the third time that festival has been nominated for the award.
Headliners this year included techno DJ, the Black Madonna and bassliner Ziúr. The weekend included a variety of different raves, talks, performances and workshops. No Bounds hosted many tributes to Sheffield bassline, which was popular in the early 2000s.
