M1 re-opens after multi-vehicle crash
The northbound M1 has now re-opened following an early-morning crash between six lorries.
A vehicle collided with a broken-down lorry between junctions 29A and 30 at about 5.50am. Several other crashes on the same stretch of motorway followed.

Five people were injured and are being treated by East Midlands Ambulance Service. Some casualties were being treated as “walking wounded.”
Police are encouraging anyone with information to call them on 101, quoting incident 88 of today.
