South Yorkshire Police are still hunting for the killer of a young father, who was stabbed at his home in Sheffield on Thursday night.
Jordan Hill, 21, was found seriously injured at his flat on Southey Avenue, Longley, just before 10pm on 23 March.
He was taken to hospital, where he died soon afterwards.
Detective Chief Inspector Victoria Short, leading the murder investigation, thanked the local community and all those who have come forward for supporting police inquiries.
However, she said police are still keen to hear from anyone who lives around Southey Avenue who is yet to come forward, and who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area on Thursday night.
She said: “The smallest detail, which may not seem important to you, could be very useful for our inquiry so please get in touch with police.”
“If you don’t want to contact us directly to offer information, don’t forget you can always call Crimestoppers anonymously.”
The police are trying to trace a silver car, which was seen near to Mr Hill’s home around the time of the attack.
Anyone with information should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
