England beat Scotland in Sheffield’s first ever dodgeball game at the All Saints Sports Centre on Saturday.
The sport has been steadily getting more and more popular in schools and communities all across the UK.
The new league, launched by British Dodgeball in January, is aiming to raise awareness, provide talented players with opportunities and raise the competitiveness of the country internationally.
The mixed-gender league is also the answer for rugby’s Six Nations Championship.
England, who are the current European and World Champions, beat Scotland after annihilating Wales 11-1. Scotland came to the game after narrowly defeating Northern Ireland 7-5.
