The last round of npower League One will witness the last automatic promotion to the Championship this weekend.

Currently, Sheffield Wednesday has replaced United in second place of the league table by one-point after a crucial victory over Brentford. Only one of the Sheffield teams can be automatically promoted to the Championship.

Both the Owls and the Blades face already-relegated teams. Wednesday will face Wycombe Wanderers at Hillsborough and United will face Exeter City.

If Wednesday wins its last home game against the Wycombe Wanderers and gets all three points, it will be promoted to the Championship regardless of United’s result.

The Owls won two of their last three games with Wycombe and drew one.

For the last home game of this season, the Owls placed a further 6,000 tickets on sale on Tuesday morning, all of which have been snapped up.

Over 37,000 home fans will now be roaring Wednesday on as Dave Jones' side bid for the second automatic promotion slot in League 1.

Owls defender Reda Johnson will miss the game on Saturday as he is still recovering from a thigh injury. Julian Bennett will also be sidelined for the season finale.

If the Blades beat Exeter City in its last game, they will still remain in hope of being promoted if the Owls fail to maintain their advantages.

If United finish third on the final table, they will play the team in sixth-place. This could be Stevenage, Notts County or Carlisle.

Huddersfield Town will play Milton Keynes Dons in the other semi-final.
